Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve answered the questions we are asked most frequently, but if you don’t find what you need here, we’re always happy to help you personally. Just give us a call!

What is your denomination?

Canaan Trail Baptist Church is a scripture-based Baptist church. We love Jesus and strive to lead others to Christ through His word.

What is it like to visit CTBC?

Upon entering the church, you’ll be welcomed by one of our delightful greeters and directed to the sanctuary. If you’d like, a greeter will personally introduce you to the pastor and give you a brief tour of our beautiful facility.

What time does your service begin?

We hold Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. with a brief slate of announcements, followed by worship. After worship, the sermon begins. When the sermon is complete, there is an altar call.

What type of worship do you have?

At CTBC, we offer traditional-style worship from the LifeWay Baptist Hymnal.

Does Canaan Trail welcome children?

Canaan Trail has a wonderful children’s ministry, suitable for children of all ages—even babies! You will sign your children in when dropping them off. Only the individual who signed the child in may sign the child out. At CTBC, the protection of our children is of the utmost importance!

What should I wear?

Canaan Trail Baptist Church does not have a dress code. You may come as you are. We want you to be comfortable and feel welcome. Attendees often come in what they deem appropriate for a church service—in something usually considered semi-formal.
